Baker & Cook is a small chain of (you guessed it) bakeries around the island, and they have a pizza extension called Plank that serves (you guessed it again) sourdough pizza on wooden planks. That #8 above featured goodies like lamb & fennel meatballs, caramelized garlic, and buttered leeks. But what made it easy to eat was the airy, light, yet crispy dough. I still prefer
L'Operetta, but this was unique enough to eat again. But as with many of these upscale places, the bill can add up pretty quickly, especially with some booze.
