Quận 4 finally had bánh bèo available today, so I made sure to include them in my order. It arrived in individual components though, so I had to figure out how to piece it together. And I've never had it before, so I just looked at photographs that I found online and tried my best.
I'm still not sure if I did it correctly, and I wasn't sure how to eat it either given that the toppings kept falling out of the floppy rice cakes. But when I did manage to get one in my mouth, it was delicious thanks to those tasty bits of stuff on top and some potent chili too.
