ZAMAS River Valley in Singapore
That prata above might look a bit odd; I peeled a small part open so that one could see what was inside this "Maggi prata." It was instant Maggi mee noodles, and unseasoned at that. It became a mushy lump of dough without any of the savory-ness that one usually associates with the Maggi brand.
Anyway, this was from a 24 hour prata shop called ZAMAS (429 River Valley Road, 6737-3786). Their menu also featured other things that I'd never seen before, like teh pandan. But as it turned out, didn't really have much of a pandan leaf taste. It seemed more like a plain local tea with a leaf shoved in there as a garnish.
No, I wasn't a big fan of this place, especially when a competing shop called Al Afrose is just a few doors down but with crisper, lighter prata and punchier curries to go with it. Sure, this one has a much more inviting and airy storefront on the corner, but the service here (at least, the guy we got this morning) didn't match that.

You can wait very long for your food, not recommended.
