Wow, I haven't been back to Kazan since my first visit there six years ago. I looked up my
notes from last time and followed my own advice by trying a non-volcano bowl this time. I liked how they had a barrage of condiments available at each table, but the
chashu was disappointingly lean and thick, while the broth was a bore too. The
gyoza fared better (and I liked how the alcohol here was cheap), but the
ramen was quite a buzzkill.
