This was my kind of place (17 Carrer de la Unió, +34-932-703-458). And fortunately, a teammate of mine had a reservation! We sat down at the counter and watched the food come our way, including not just that
pulpo above (much punchier than that disappointing one at Botafumiero
the other night), but also small plates of clams, razor clams, mussels, scallops, and squid. Perhaps one of the biggest surprises was a thinly sliced eggplant that was lightly battered and fried. It was simply delicious, and I must come back here again.
