Trying an Outlet of Chai Chee Minced Meat Noodle

I didn't even realize that this was a chain until I saw a news story posted on its glass casing (presumably it's the same as this one that I tried ages ago?), but apparently these guys have multiple outlets at hawker centers across the island. Anyway, I grabbed this bowl, which surprised me with how spicy it was. Yet, it also had ketchup overtones in it, and it lacked the depth and fun of black Chinese vinegar. At least the soup was nice and salty; I'd eat it again if they can still keep the noodles as spicy as they were today.
