ChaTraMue Cafe in Singapore
I don't know how long this cha yen shop has been in Singapore (outlets at Far East Square and Tanjong Pagar MRT station), nor how real its claims are (the tea brand has allegedly in Thailand since 1945). But I've been seeing so many people walking around on the streets with those signature white cups and red caps that I had to give it a try.
They offered a few versions, including not just normal Thai tea, but also a premium "gold" one, as well as a green tea. And all of these were available hot, cold, ice-blended, or even in an occasional special like a milkshake. I thus expected these to be really strong or aromatic, but to my surprise, they weren't. They were just your typical Thai tea. Oh well.
