So here's that fishball noodle place at the new
Skyville @ Dawson (85 Dawson Road). It turns out that it's actually run by
the Da Lian dude, except that he's only doing fishballs (and fish dumplings) here rather than
bak chor mee. Sure, the fishballs had a nice bounce to them, but the more important thing was his signature dry chili sauce. He doesn't overcook the noodles here either, making this bowl delicious enough to come back for.

Pretty good but try a side by side comparison with the one at Ion basement Food Opera
I haven't tried that one myself but I'm told it's a bit sweet, right? Well, I've also been told that the fishballs there might be a bit more interesting, so I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for the tip.
Sweet in a natural, fragrant sense, yes. Agree they are interesting - well worth a try
