This place wasn't easy to find. Google Maps has it pinned correctly, but there is no signage outside, making it easy to miss on the touristy Avenida RevoluciĆ³n (corner of Carillo Puerto y o Tercera, +52-664-638-4936). Fortunately, there was a Visitor Information booth smack in front of the place, so it was easy to ask in English where it was, and he pointed directly to that dark-looking wooden coffee shop.
Anyway, this place is run by an American, and a Top Chef competitor at that. I was expecting a lot as a result, but was kinda bummed with the tostadas above (too heavy) as well as the cocktails (rather uninspiring). To be fair, they were running a reduced menu this afternoon. And maybe if I didn't just eat that shrimp taco beforehand, I might have tried more food. Well, at least it was a convenient place to stop for a drink before heading to the border.
