Victor's Kitchen at Chinatown Point, Singapore

Crispy Golden Spring Rolls

This local dim sum place from Bencoolen Street has expanded to the former grounds of Tam Ahn (133 New Bridge Road #01-33). We grabbed a number of items, most of which were pretty good, particularly the youtiao changfun, as well as a ginger-flavored boiled milk dessert. But the liu sha bao were excessively sweet and oily. That might be pretty satisfying in certain situations, but today it just made us feel sick. Too bad Paradise Pavilion has closed down.
