The team suggested this little shop for lunch today, as it specialized in food from Tainan, including danzi mian (215 Songde Road, +886-2-2759-8202). I had a bowl of dry noodles, which to my surprise had a bit of raw garlic sitting underneath that pork (just before I was going to meet a client for the first time, no less!). Fortunately, the garlic was just a smidgen rather than being overwhelming, and the chili sauce was pretty spicy too, tasting a bit like Ay Chung's, in fact. Those little side dishes weren't too bad either.
