Normally I'm not a huge fan of
local beef noodles, but somehow the thought of that sour chili sauce sounded great this afternoon. I gobbled up this bowl so quickly that I immediately went back for a second one. The key to this was that aforementioned chili sauce; without it, I wouldn't have been that excited about it, even if they provided that briny grey colored
cincalok stuff for some extra kick. I didn't even bother with the broth: it was all about dunking the beef into the sour sauce. Next time I'll try asking for the dry version so that I can just ladle the red stuff all over it.
