That thing probably looks kinda nasty all torn apart above, but it was actually kinda cool. It was basically a Japanese version of a Scotch egg, and being from a tonkatsu shop, it was actually menchi-katsu with an egg shoved inside. I'm not sure how common this is in Japan, but I liked all of that yolk oozing out of it.
Anyway, this shop is apparently from Japan (1 Vista Exchange Green #01-17, 6694-6148). I didn't try anything else on the menu, but it looked like your typical tonkatsu menu aside from that egg thing above (no, there wasn't any cod available). They also do katsu-sando in takeout boxes.
