Piles of Dates in the Hotel Lobby

I didn't even notice this when I first came in, but standing in the center of the hotel lobby here in Abu Dhabi were three gigantic piles of dates for anyone to just walk up to and nibble on, complete with three different varieties to pick from (the one at the end was so sweet that it almost seemed like sugar) and even some coffee and a little bowl to put the stones in afterwards. How cool is that??
