We weren't super hungry yet, so we stopped by this little place for a quick snack of
bánh cuốn, which is basically made in a crepe-like process using rice flour, but then scrunched up and filled with minced pork and mushrooms before being accompanied by the requisite set of greens, fish sauce-based dip, and chili peppers. I liked it better than
chee cheong fun; the filling was savory, and the herbs kept it fresh-tasting.
