This was billed on the menu as a "Sauteed garoupa with Szechuan pepper sauce," the last three words of which I desperately hoped meant that it would feature some semblance of
spicy Sichuan peppercorns. Alas (and the little voice in my head knew better), the way they spelled "Szechuan" meant instead that this was the American interpretation of it: in a sweet and sour sauce. Oh well...I had to try. Besides, I had already eaten the other two items on the menu
earlier this month.
