Isetan's Papaya and Chili

I'm not sure where this originated from, but Isetan's grocery store has something interesting at the fruit stand: sliced papaya in a sweet pickling brine with sliced chilis, creating quite a bit of a kick. I suppose it may have been derived from Thai papaya salad, but this is much simpler, lacking things like nuts, shrimp, and string beans. Anyway, this is kinda cool if you're a lover of spicy little chili peppers.
