Extra Koobideh from Persepolis

A double order of Koobideh

Here we go: finally, a double-order of koobideh from Persepolis, thus making it a bit more in line with normal-sized portions. Actually, tonight was a bit of a bummer in the sense that the rice was horribly dry with little or no butter flavor (and the onions were not very fragrant), but the kebabs were still done just right. They also only charged me S$10 (US$5.90) for the extra kebab rather than the full S$15 (US$8.80) for another whole meal, so this double-order piled onto the same plate turned out to be a bit cheaper this way too.

It turns out that these guys are open until 1 AM on weekdays and 2 AM on weekends. So that just goes to show how these guys really are much more dependent on selling drinks for soccer fans out on the patio rather than the food (it was packed tonight on the patio with a bunch of drinkers, but not a soul was to be found inside for the food). Well, it still works out well for me; that means that I can get Persian food even late at night. Score!
