Yuck. The two choices tonight were "chicken with noodles" or "fishcake with rice." Neither sounded appetizing, but what do you know - by the time they get to me, all they have left is fishcake. And the stench that emanated from it when I took the foil wrapping off the top was nasty - ugh! I never really liked otak otak, and this is kinda like a huge block of it. Still, I took a bite. It wasn't very good, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I still ate it (as well as that weird coconut and canned pear jello thing), but I won't miss any of this, that's for sure.

LOL. Sad when the one positive statement you can make about a food is that it isn't as bad as you thought it would be. I guess you have to make up for all that tasty Thai food somehow.
