Upin Hot Pot at Clarke Quay Central, Singapore

Sliced Mutton Set

I know that I've had a lot of hot pot lately, but I needed lunch today, and this place happened to be nearby (6 Eu Tong Sen Street #03-87, 6221-5550). It seems to be a chain started by some Haidilao alumni, right across the river from the latter's original Clarke Quay location. It didn't have all of the frills that Haidilao has, like manicures and a children's playground. But it's open late, and I liked the food, including a broth that was filled with a nice assortment of mushrooms, as well as a decently well-stocked seasoning bar. It's yet another one in the cluster of hot pot restaurants near Clarke Quay, even if this one is local rather than from China.
