These guys were on the Eater 38 list, and were open in the morning, so I stopped by (13 Carrer de Ginebra, 932-683265). I grabbed those razor clams above as well as some calçots that I saw on their specials list. To my surprise, the calçots were battered rather than grilled on a fire (yep, the fried thing in the background is a collection of battered leeks). That meant that they were sweet, but also lacking that lovely grilled aroma that I love so much about them. The razor clams were better: gritty, but also briny. I'm curious to see what else they have.
