Foie Gras Ramen from Menya Sakura in Singapore

Foie Gras Ramen

Foie gras ramen isn't exactly something that sounded very good to me. Yet the folks at Menya Sakura were doing a limited run of it, and I rather liked their aburasoba broth last time. So I went down there today to give this new bowl a try.

I didn't like it at all. Perhaps to no surprise, the liver just didn't fit in with the rest of this bowl. The broth was mildly sweet, and it was annoyingly garnished with pine nuts too. I had to dump a lot of black pepper on this thing in order just to make it edible. No, I won't get this again.
