Sweetfish Poke at Capitol Piazza, Singapore

Poke

Perhaps to no surprise, yet another poke shop has opened in Singapore (13 Stamford Road #B2-30). What's interesting about this one though is that they position themselves as Californian rather than Hawaiian. And they use sesame oil too (yay!). So does that mean that Californian poke uses sesame oil, but Hawaiian does not?

As good as it was that they used sesame oil, one problem is that there is basically no customization aside from your base and fish. There wasn't any red chili oil, and the rice in my bowl was a bit difficult to eat given how dry it was. In that sense, I'd still rather go to Loloku, even if they don't have sesame oil.
