Horchatería Santa Catalina in Valencia, Spain

Horchata de Chufa y Fartons

There was one more thing that I wanted to get before heading home: horchata with fartons. See, the Spanish version of horchata is different from the Mexican one, and in Valencia they use a local nut. Indeed, it was nuttier, thicker, and sweeter than the Mexican one, and without the cinnamon nor vanilla either. I still liked it enough to get a second one though, together with that farton pastry, which tasted like it looked. This shop (6 Plaça de Santa Caterina, +34-963-912-379) was conveniently open at 8:30 AM, even on a Sunday.
