La Gondola's Ventresca Tuna From Portugal

La Gondola Ventresca de atum em azeite

Here's another can of Portuguese tuna, but this one was much better, being beautifully sliced into thin long strips. I was a bit surprised by how lean and salty it was at first, but the olive oil was wonderfully rich and made for fun bread dipping. At that point, the salty tuna became a nice complement when used sparingly like anchovies. It's definitely not the prized fatty stuff that I've come to worship, but I'll buy this again.
