The Ma Maison folks have opened up a ramen and tonkatsu-focused shop in the basement of Capitol Piazza (13 Stamford Road #B2-51, 6384-6211), with its "No.1 Recommend [sic] Menu" being this bowl featuring grated Gouda from Tokachi, Hokkaido. I haven't had too much luck with cheese-topped ramen lately, so I was actually rather happy with this, not only since the cheese was tastier than was expecting, but also since they provided proper Japanese pepper and sesame seeds at each table too. I won't get cravings for this, but I'll happily eat it again.
