Roast goose was requested for dinner tonight, and fortunately there was a one-Michelin-star place not too far from us (226 Hennessy Road, 2520-1110). There was a bit of a wait when we got there (and they nearly ran out of geese!), but once we sat down, we understood why: it was deliciously fatty, and all went very nicely with the sauce.
Perhaps even more exciting was the Prince Kinsen Noodle, which was made by slicing open a goose and letting the juice drop onto a plate of firm eggy noodles. It was as delicious as it sounded, especially since they spiked it with a few shreds of ginger to cut through all of the grease. Now, I don't eat enough goose to make a proper comparison to Yung Kee, but I'd come back to Kam's for those noodles alone.
