Vale Cuisine in Shanghai, China

Clams

One of our local salespeople took us out for a team dinner here tonight. It was supposed to be modern Cantonese food, but judging by the decor, you never would have thought so. Well, all of the food was fine and delicate but nothing mindblowing. Perhaps the best thing that we got tonight (aside from that clam broth above) was a local Shanghai pork dish in a slightly sweet dark brown sauce, which went great with its fat-attached meat.
