I came back to Butahage tonight to try the more expensive "premier" butadon, featuring Japanese pork rather than American. Yes, you could taste the difference, especially with it being a bit more tender and fatty. But it was also just as sweet and less aromatic than what I was hoping for. Nor was it enough to really make me crave this later either. Interestingly, the credit card slip says that the merchant is Fish & Co; are they managing this as a franchise or something?
