Mission Chinese Food in San Francisco, California

Chongqing chicken wings

I didn't go to the actual restaurant down in the Mission district; instead, this was from a catered corporate event tonight. It was great that they got these guys too, as I loved these spicy Chongqing wings enough that I went back for seconds. It was seasoned kinda like chuanr but slightly sweeter and more anise-like.

And yes, this was from that restaurant that Bourdain went to, where they actually use space from another Chinese restaurant called Lung Shan. This guy, however, takes a more modern approach to it all, like beer-brined Sichuan pickles. I should go there to try the rest of the menu.
