Engine Co. No. 28 Restaurant in Los Angeles

Brussel Sprouts and Bacon

This place was right across from my gate while transiting at LAX this morning. After looking it up online, I realized that it was an extension of a restaurant at a former fire station in downtown LA, serving "firehouse favorites" like meatloaf and burgers. I didn't really feel like eating meat this morning though, so I went for a mere starter of Brussels sprouts and bacon. It was a tad overcooked, but fortunately wasn't overseasoned like I thought it might be. The bacon made this stuff go down easily.
