This week's trip has been so busy that I never really got the chance to get some good wanton min. But I was fine with that, because I knew that there was an outlet of this Tasty Congee place down at the airport. Tasty Congee, you see, was apparently started by some relative of Mak's. So this had to be good.
Or so I thought. Sure, the noodles were firm, and the shrimp were fresh. But there was just no darned aroma in this thing, unlike the wonderful fragrance of Mak's. Indeed, I didn't even bother to finish the soup. Oh well. Hopefully next time I'll have more time to hunt down some of the other shops in the city.
