Lunch at Hakata Motsunabe Yamaya
I don't know why these guys bothered with all three or four various protein selections in their lunch sets today when the highlight here was this bowl of mentaiko that was sitting with the other condiments on the table; I could have totally just wolfed some down with some rice and soup. I didn't even finish that surprisingly tough meat that they provided, but at least it was cheap at only 980 Yen (US$9.40).
Well, it looks like these guys specialize in gyumotsu stews at dinnertime instead, so in that sense, I guess that lunch was just a side show. Interestingly, they seem to have an outlet in Torrance in addition to all of their outlets around Japan.
