Maguro Natto from Nanbantei

Maguro Natto

Here was the maguro natto from Nanbantei, an old favorite of mine that I haven't been to in ages due to all of the other new distractions. Sure, the guy might have overseasoned some of my sticks tonight, but this was pretty much still the same place that I remember. I really should come here more often, especially since it's such a healthy meal.

Even as an expat American in Singapore, I'm usually in 100% agreement with your food tastes. But natto? Sorry dude. That's one thing I can't do.
And that's coming from a guy who ate a fried scorpion two days ago.

I love this dish!!! I have a sushi restaurant in Santa Rosa, CA called Hana Sushi and they serve this dish, its called Chef Ken's Staff meal and boy it is good. Natto is just like eating stinky French cheese, nothing more nothing less.
