These things are great. It looks disgusting being dispensed in liquid form from a machine, but once it solidifies, it beats the Colonel any day of the week. And all for a bargain price of S$1 (US$0.60). And it's available at 7-11's across the island! What a nice tasty MSG-filled treat to eat on the way home, together with a Slurpee.
This thing is a bit disgusting though - chewing gum of the orientals??? These are fish-based strips, which give the worst case of dragon breath. Who the heck would use this for chewing gum? It reminds me of going to a Korean noraebang, where they give you these nasty things while you sing and blurt your horrendous breath out to your friends (after a kimchee-based meal, no less). Yuck!
I guess the 'chewing gum of the oriental' is just a new form of advertising. Cos as far as i know, i can't recall reading this sentence when im eating this snack (since i was a kid).
