Chinese salted egg yolk has
been a bit of a thing here in Singapore lately. And as I noticed tonight when walking through 7-Eleven, it has now made its way into packaged potato chips via a local brand. The chips were sliced paper thin, which wouldn't have been my first choice (I'm one of those people that prefers the unsalted variant of Kettle Potato Chips because I prefer to taste those thick cuts of potato, not the flavoring). But ultimately they got the salted egg yolk taste good enough such that I admittedly had trouble stopping myself from eating it too.
