Zhia's Kitchen Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Kampung Fried Rice

We needed a fast meal before heading back to the office today, and there was an outlet of this local chain nearby. It didn't look very encouraging, but I got this kampung fried rice, which turned out to be surprisingly good, mainly because of some delicious chili flake oil that they weaved into this thing. And I washed it all down with a longan milk, which turned out to just be fresh cow's milk mixed with canned longan and its syrup, if I tasted it correctly. It was better than it sounded.
