The "Autumn" Tonkotsu Ramen from Keisuke

Tonkotsu Ramen Autumn

Keisuke's "Four Seasons" concept never seemed that interesting to me, so I haven't been back here since they opened. But I was in the neighborhood today and needed a quick bite, so I figured I'd try his "autumn" version, which featured bonito with a mixture of minced pork and mushrooms.

It was a lot better than I thought it would be, with a mildly earthy and silky feel to it. Actually, if he had put this up on a pedestal and called it some kind of phenomenal mushroom ramen, it would've probably gotten a lot more attention. But I'm still not coming back to this place regularly. Everything else seems like quite a bore.
