Verde y Crema in Tijuana, Mexico

This restaurant is in the Distrito GastronĂ³mico (Calle Orizaba 3034, +52-664-681-2366), run by a chef dubbed "The Mexican Thomas Keller." And I just loved the laid-back, no-pretentious vibe, with a menu featuring nothing but local ingredients and booze. This looked very promising.

Yes, I generally liked the food, including those elotes above, as well as some tostadas de pulpo that I got. Still, it wasn't quite as refined as I thought it would be, and the kitchen was a bit citrus-heavy. I'm going to have to try some other Baja-Med places tomorrow.
