That doesn't look very good, nor did I really like it. But at this point in the evening, I didn't care. I was starving, and this place (560 4th Avenue, 619-696-3466) was just a couple of blocks away. They seemed to take pride in their papas fritas, so that's what I got, even if tacos seemed like a better choice than fries. Anyway, it did the job of lining the belly, and admittedly I might come back again if I find myself trying to hunt down post-drinking food down here. But I'll definitely pick something else from the menu, and hopefully the wait staff won't be as grumpy next time either.
