I had a meeting out in Jurong this afternoon, so I figured that this would be a good chance to get some lunch at Jem beforehand. Specifically, I was after that mala xiang guo stall that has been discussed a few times in the past (50 Jurong Gateway Road #05-01, stall number 8).
And yeah, I liked it. Despite being in a food court, it was nothing like that nasty watered-down Xiao Manniu place. Instead, this was punchy and spicy, even while only requesting "medium" heat. Now, I'm not sure if I'd go all the way out to Jurong just for this when places like Piao Xiang are much closer. But it was good.
