A hotel lobby is the last place that I would have expected a good cocktail bar to be. And yet, that is exactly what this place is, with a bartender that seriously makes some of the best drinks in town (80 Bras Basah Road, 6431-5315). I don't think I've ever had a cocktail here that I didn't like.
Drinks aside, they have a Catalan chef doing tapas too. Those chowder-like clam spheres above are frighteningly addictive, as are the anchovy sticks. No, one should not expect to come here for a meal. But I love having these delicious little morsels available to accompany some of the best cocktails around.
