I was passing by Isetan this afternoon when I figured that I'd stop to see what kind of specials they were doing. In addition to the cool kendo demo upstairs, they had a Miyazaki fair down in the supermarket. And at the counter where they usually feature some kind of ramen, instead they had a selection of oshizushi.
I was a bit surprised at first when the dude behind the counter immediately took my box and threw it into the microwave (!). Fortunately, it was only brought up to a mildly warm temperature, and turned out to be delicious. I'm not sure if this stuff is normally nuked like that, but it made the fat in the salmon melt a bit more into the rice. Yum!
