I splurged for lunch by going to Lolla today, grabbing a couple of specials off the board like this wild boar tortellini. The filling was forgettable, but everything else in that dish was delicious, including the smoky grilled tomatoes and refreshing consomme.
I actually haven't been here in a good number of months, in part because last time they strangely delivered all of my food to me at the same time, forcing me to scramble to try to eat it all quickly before it got cold. At least today, they spaced it out properly, and ultimately the taste of the food reminded me of why I like it so much.
