Osaka's Botejyu at Singapore's Liang Court

Pork Okonomiyaki

It looks like Botejyu from Osaka has finally opened at Liang Court (177 River Valley Road #02-32, 6338-8557). And interestingly, they were trying to promote the use of the nickname "okos" in place of okonomiyaki. It was not a DIY setup, which meant not only a long wait for orders to come from the central kitchen, but also that there were no tableside buckets of dark sauce nor mayo bottles to squeeze on yourself. Fortunately, my food still turned out to be the tasty grease bomb that it should have been, but don't come here if you're in a rush as it took nearly 30 minutes for my food to arrive on this busy evening.

I waited for 40min last Fri (after asking them twice and the staff promised to serve immediately). In the end we cancelled the order and left in anger. I hope they will improve their service soon.

what IS that? It looks like a "bear claw" topped with a little bit of sour kraut.

Romantic Kobe's curry rice is much much much nicer! try it. (Liang Court B1)

Wow, what is this? It looks like some type of dessert but your description leads me otherwise.

The Okonomiyaki was badly underdone...it was cook only one side but not both side. The taste was raw, leaving it a floury & bitter texture. And the Yaki soba was too dry, not much yaki sauce on the noodles.Yet the portion is simply too small.
That's not the real Japanese thing. It shouldn't taste like that,if having a brand name that is famous in Japan.
