Somehow I've never known about this stall at Amoy Street Food Centre (7 Maxwell Road #02-94), perhaps because that sign board of theirs is all yellowed out with age. I only happened to notice it today because I saw somebody eating in front of it and the chicken looked pretty appealing.
The quality was good, with moist chicken and firmly cooked rice...and in a fun short grain form too. They kept it all very simple with sesame oil and scallions. None of it was sweet aside from the soup, which was the only thing I didn't like. But hey; it was only S$4 (US$3) which is a freakin' steal!
