This stall (8 Grange Road #B1-01) is apparently from a guy from Changsha who misses food from his hometown, and interestingly finds the food at Nong Geng Ji inadequate. There are quite a few things on his menu, and that savory sauteed tofu and pork above worked for me, especially since it was on top of some silky Changsha rice noodles coated with lard. And there is a nice spread of pickles and chili for one to garnish everything with too. I'd like to try more of his items.
Epilogue: I just tried their minced pork with waipocai pickles and loved how uniquely firm yet finely sliced those salty and spicy pickles were. Next time I’m going solely for that.
