Miam Miam French Japanese Cafe Kitchen in Singapore

Miam Miam Spaghetti

When I first saw this place out at Westgate last year, I was immediately turned off by not just its big printed picture menu books, but also what seemed like senseless marketing babble (e.g., "French artisanal"). Still, we were taken to its outlet at Waterway Point in Punggol not long ago, and I was surprised by how much I liked it. Indeed, it left such a good impression that we came over to their Bugis Junction outlet today to get more (200 Victoria Street #02-14, 6837-0301).

In particular, I liked their namesake Miam Miam Spaghetti above, which was not only done up in a delicious soy sauce and butter blend, but most importantly, featured noodles that were firmly cooked, not to mention everything else that they garnished it with above. I wasn't as big of a fan of some of the other stuff on the menu, but I'd come back for that plate above again. It reminded me a lot of something that one might find at Yomenya Goemon.
