Pagi Sore Indonesian Restaurant, Singapore

Terung Tao Chio

This weekend I was reading a story extolling the virtues of Indonesian food, and somehow the thought must have stuck. I went hunting for some sambal and beef rendang at an outlet of Pagi Sore, which I don't think I've ever eaten at before. Yeah, I liked it a lot, with the complex blend of spices enhancing rather than overwhelming the beef, and that eggplant above wasn't too bad either. It was more expensive than I thought it would be though; I'll have to try to hunt down someplace cheaper one day.

I recommend Nasi Pariaman at Kandahar street if you haven't tried them before.
