A Salty Douhua Breakfast in Shanghai

Salty Douhua

I went back to that soybean milk guy for breakfast this morning, but getting douhua instead (I didn't realize that they made a salty version of it). It basically tasted the same, even if the texture was more solid. I also grabbed one of those sticky rice balls, which was made on the spot with some salted veggies. It reminded me a bit of a takana onigiri, except that he also put a smashed up youtiao inside.
